Overview

The Heart of the Rabbit Party has festive mice visiting two locations the Town of Gnawnia and the Training Grounds of Furoma.

The event mice are dropping some festive loot, including two new and very useful charms. Take the opportunity to stock up on these while you can as they’re much better than their equivalents available for purchase in the mountain.

Requirements

To take part in the Heart of the Rabbit Party a Hunter must have:
    A Hunter’s Title of at least Recruit.
And it is recommended that a Hunter should have:
    A strong or lucky Weapon and Base.

Locations and Cheese

The Heart of the Rabbit Party is only happening in the Town of Gnawnia and the Training Grounds.

Newer hunters will have to hunt in the Town of Gnawnia to take part, however more experienced hunters may wish to hunt in the Training Grounds with a Tactical weapon to get the best returns.

Most purchased cheese and Super Brie can be used for this event, Super Brie will obviously have the highest attraction rate and is especially attractive to Costumed Rabbit mice.

New Mice

During the Heart of the Rabbit Party 7 event mice can be encountered that are not normally available.

Here we give an overview of the mice that can be encountered in this event, and how often you can expect to see them using various cheese.

Brie and Super Brie are comparable for the number of event mice they attract with the exception of the Costumed Rabbit Mouse. This mouse has an obvious preference for Super Brie.

It also appears that tehre are many more event mice to be found in the Training Grounds than the Town of Gnawnia.

Goals

Here is a selection of Goals that a hunter may like to achieve:

Catch the event mice

Most of the event mice are relatively weak and many traps will be able to catch them, as such high luck setups will perform very well against these mice.

Hunters in the Training Grounds should arm Tactical traps to maximise their catch rate of other mice in that location.

Where to hunt

Hunters who have access to the Training Grounds will encounter many more event mice there, if you have access this really is the best place to hunt during this event.

The new charms

There are two new charms available as loot from this event, the Valentine Charm and the Lucky Rabbit Charm.

The Valentine Charm is best used by newer players to dramatically increase the attraction rate of some weaker cheese.
In combination with bases and weapons that have high attraction bonuses this charm could make a cheese like Cheddar as attractive as Brie and much more cost effective.
More experienced hunters may wish to consider use of this charm with either their rarest crafted cheese or in a place like the Seasonal Garden where attraction rates are very important.

The Luck Rabbit Charm has a very good luck boost and can be collected in reasonable numbers. This charm is best used in places where the variety of mice attracted is very low, for example the Jungle of Dread.

Charmbit

These new charms can be crafted with Charmbits purchased in the Charm Shoppe in the Mountain.

They cost 25 gold each.

The lowest grade of orb — used in crafting rudimentary, low-power charms.

New Charms

These charms have various effects, some boost the stats of your trap, others attract or repel certain mice. Some even change the special abilities of mice.

Rotten Charm

Made from rotten pieces of dried up cheese, this charm’s funky odour adds power to your trap by causing a mouse to become slightly queasy right as they attempt to steal your bait. This powerful stench is also known to penetrate bait, increasing the chance of it turning stale.

Super Rotten Charm

Imbued with rock-hard Stale SUPER|brie+, this charm emits a powerful stench that puts a mouse into a severely disorientated state. The intense odour also increases the chance of your bait turning stale should you fail to attract a mouse.

Prospector’s Charm

With a center of hard meteorite, this mining charm provides +200 power and a 1% power bonus to your trap. When used in the Mountain, this charm’s prospecting ability attracts more Gold and Diamond mice. When used alongside SUPER|brie+ in the Mountain, these charms also increase the attraction of Silvertail mice.

Prospector’s Charms can be purchased from the Charm Shoppe in the Mountain for 450 gold.

This charm is packed with concentrated Radioactive Sludge, which is highly corrosive to bone. Skeleton Mice in the Catacombs fear these charms and will stay clear of your trap while you have one armed.

Scientist’s Charm

Powered by small fragments of Living Shard, this technologically advanced charm is scientifically engineered to increase both the chance of mice dropping Radioactive Blue Potions, as well as the quantity dropped while hunting in the Burroughs’ Laboratory.

Special: Increases drop rate of Radioactive Blue Potions, also increases amount of potions dropped.
Consumed Upon: Attracting a Mouse.

Empowered Anchor Charm

This charm is created by bonding Charmbits with Scrap Metal to forge a mighty anchor that increases the stability of a trap’s weapon, providing a significant power bonus. The anchor also prevents being washed out of Balack’s Cove when capturing a Riptide Mouse.

Special: Catching a Riptide mouse does not move you to the Jungle of Dread.

Dragonbane Charm

This charm acts as a hidden surprise to any Dragon Mice bold enough to come near your trap. When activated, the charm bursts out a jarring cold blast of air, strong enough to disable the Dragon’s molten breath, making the Dragon easier to catch. This charm is only consumed when a Dragon Mouse is encountered.

Special: Estimated ~300% Power bonus against dragon mouse.
Consumed Upon: Attracting a Dragon Mouse.
