Chocolate Factory

This delicious looking factory was built by the King to produce endless chocolatey treats for his loyal hunters. Some sinister mice have over-run the factory and are using the chocolate for their own less-than-sweet plans!

Overview

The Chocolate Factory is an event location with a difference, before you can enter you must go on a spring egg hunt and collect 10 eggs.

Details of how to find the eggs are given in the goals section, for most hunters it will require travel between several locations.

Once you have entered the Chocolate Factory you will be able to hunt for three event mice that drop Marshmallow Monterey Cheese, a special cheese that attracts the Hare Razer Mouse.

At the same time Hunters will have the choice of hunting for more powerful mice by arming the Dark Chocolate Charm, making the area more rewarding for experienced hunters.

Arming Marshmallow Monterey Cheese will allow a hunter to attract and hopefully catch the Hare Razer Mouse, this mouse drops the Rocket Rabbit Mallet, a special item that allows hunters to smash their eggs and claim the loot inside.

At this point hunters may return to other areas and collect bonus eggs.

 

Requirements

To hunt in the Chocolate Factory a Hunter must have:
    A Hunter’s Title of at least Journeyman.
    Collected the Golden Egg as loot from a mouse.
And it is recommended that a Hunter should have:
    Any trap, although experienced hunters may prefer to use an Arcane Trap.
    Any cheese.

Don’t let the tasty look of the walls fool you, evil is afoot at this chocolate factory!

Some sinister mice have taken over the factory and have been producing chocolate eggs to smuggle hunting supplies away from Gnawnia. The eggs are coated with a candy so hard it’s near unbreakable!

Keep hunting, I’m sure the secret of how to crack open your eggs will be here somewhere…

Cheese Shoppe

The Cheese Shoppe of the Chocolate Factory offers a selection of cheese at prices similar to those found elsewhere.

While normal cheese can be used in this area, there is a new cheese: Marshmallow Monterey that must be used to attract the Hare Razor mouse.

Experienced hunters may wish to arm the Dark Chocolate Charm in order to change the mice that are attracted in this location. It is advised that an Arcane trap be used when hunting with this charm.

Marshmallow Monterey is the only known cheese to attract the Hare Razer Mouse.

Spring Egg Hunt

To gain access to this area you will need to collect the 10 spring eggs hidden in the game, below are some hints on how to collect them.

Hunters should be aware that none of these eggs are guaranteed loot drops, so you may have to catch several mice before receiving the loot you want.

Find the Gift Egg

The Gift Egg is only available as a gift from one of your friends.

Check your gifting tab to see if you’ve received any already, and if not, ask your friends if they are able to swap gifts. Individuals with lots of friends may well find they are unable to return as many gift eggs as they receive, so please don’t think harshly of those who don’t return your gift egg the same day.

There’s no limit to the number of gift eggs you can have, and it looks like they may contain something useful later, so collect as many as you can.

There are various add lists on the forums if you would like to collect more gift eggs, remember it can take up to 24 hours before new friends register on your MouseHunt profile.

Catch the Hare Razer Mouse

To catch the Hare Razer Mouse you must first collect Marshmallow Monterey Cheese, this is dropped by event mice in the Chocolate Factory.

Event mice can be attracted both with and without the Dark Chocolate Charm.

Once you arm Marshmallow Monterey Cheese, hopefully you will be able to catch the Hare Razer relatively quickly by arming your best trap (of any power type except Parental). If you use Dark Chocolate Charms with this cheese, you might want to keep an Arcane trap armed, because there is still a good chance of attracting other mice.

 

Find Bonus Eggs

There are a number of bonus eggs to be found throughout the kingdom. These can only be caught once you have caught the Hare Razer Mouse.
