Your catch rate estimates need some work. When choosing the cheese used Some of the mice that comes are wrong. You can not attract a sock puppet mouse with gauntlet tier 2. A Fiend and Necromancer with gaunlet tier 8. At least according to the wiki. I have gone thru 3 tiers and These are the only mice I have seen

Either works, personally I like hunting for it the Bazaar because you get more Burglars there which drop Gilded, helping you to keep hunting for it.

I have found that it is like level six that there is a bottleneck effect for potion collection. What I mean by that is that I used like 1000 brie to get potions and I would have like 100 potions at each level but once I got to level six I only got like 12 potions to move on.

I am not 100% on the exact floor level but I know it is an upper floor that did it for me. I didn’t feel like sitting around for another month on the bottom floors so I moved on to another area.

if you got lot of gilded cheese from the elf mice, just use gilded cheese
i had like 104 gilded cheese and used up 5 to get one without miss…

I caught a Master Burglar mouse on one of the first 3 free horn blows during the start of the game. I’m only at Apprentice level and I’m just waiting to get the floorplan. Must be lucky!

I’d recommend splitting this page (eventually) into 8 or 9 different pages – there are a lot of images to load, and it’s only going to get worse as the rest of the Gauntlet is opened.
Perhaps a main page with an introduction, shop details, cycle analysis, etc. should be retained, but then a separate page for each tier would help reduce the load while sticking to nice logical breaks.
