Helping you to hunt more effectively

Outcome

This is part of the Mechanics of MouseHunt series of articles, go here for the main article.

The final stage of the hunt is to determine the outcome of the hunt and write that to the hunter’s journal informing them of the results.

Apart from a simple catch or failure, there are some additional elements to the outcome of the hunt:

If the hunter failed to attract a mouse, there is a chance that their cheese may go stale.

If the hunter failed to catch the mouse, there may be a chance for the mouse to steal some supplies from the hunter.

If the hunter caught the mouse, there may be a chance for the mouse to drop some loot.

If the hunter caught the mouse, they will be informed of the weight and type of the mouse, and the points and gold received.
