Tier 2 (King’s Gauntlet)
This many-storied tower is the King’s personal challenge to MouseHunters everywhere: anyone who can reach the top is among the kingdom’s elite. The King’s Gauntlet works on a tier system, with Hunters advancing to the next floor by hunting with cheese that they collect on the current floor. The Gauntlet is meant as a challenge for hunters of all skill levels, but in order to ascend to the very top, a Hero’s rank will come in handy.
Overview
Tier 2 of the King’s Gauntlet – also know as the thief floor – is only a little more difficult than the first tier.
The mice are slightly more powerful, yet should not pose a real problem to any but the unluckiest of hunters.
Requirements
To hunt in the King’s Gauntlet – Tier 2 a Hunter must have:
A Hunter’s Title of at least
Initiate.
Have purchased the King’s Gauntlet Floorplan from the Cartographer in the Harbour.
Gauntlet Cheese Tier 2.
And it is recommended that a Hunter should have:
A Physical Weapon.
New Mice
There are 6 new mice to be found in this location, all of which are very weak and can only be attracted by Gauntlet Cheese Tier 2.

Goals
Here is a selection of Goals that a hunter may like to achieve:
Collecting Gauntlet Potions Tier 3
Teir 2 of the King’s Gauntlet is also known as the “thief floor” and is home to the mice who drop Gauntlet Potions Tier 3 required to progress through this location.
The mice found on Teir 2 are still quite weak and susceptible to physical traps, which makes catching them relatively easy. However, they appear to be a lot more reluctant to drop potions than their cousins on Tier 1.
Arming a high luck trap will help to increase your drop rates slightly.

How and where we can submit our hunts?
We’re working on a new log summariser and a new database. Once those are ready we’ll let everyone know.

Looks like you really like the gauntlet!
Yes, until we get the database up and running you’ll probably find any new stats posted are mine.
This is all part of my quest to catch 10 of each mouse, so I’m making sure I get a good stab at 10 Eclipses and never have to return!
