Tier 4 (King’s Gauntlet)

Tier 4 (King’s Gauntlet)

This many-storied tower is the King’s personal challenge to MouseHunters everywhere: anyone who can reach the top is among the kingdom’s elite. The King’s Gauntlet works on a tier system, with Hunters advancing to the next floor by hunting with cheese that they collect on the current floor. The Gauntlet is meant as a challenge for hunters of all skill levels, but in order to ascend to the very top, a Hero’s rank will come in handy.

Overview

Tier 4 of the King’s Gauntlet – also know as the bard floor – is a location where a tactical weapon will be very useful.

The mice here are more powerful than those on previous tiers, hunters should consider having a more powerful tactical weapon than just the Venus Mouse Trap.

Requirements

To hunt in the King’s Gauntlet – Tier 4 a Hunter must have:
A Hunter’s Title of at least Initiate.
Have purchased the King’s Gauntlet Floorplan from the Cartographer in the Harbour.
    Gauntlet Cheese Tier 4.
And it is recommended that a Hunter should have:
    A decent Tactical Weapon.

New Mice

There are 5 new mice to be found in this location, all of which are very weak and can only be attracted by Gauntlet Cheese Tier 4.

Goals

Here is a selection of Goals that a hunter may like to achieve:

Collecting Gauntlet Potions Tier 5

Tier 4 of the King’s Gauntlet is also known as the “bard floor” and is home to the mice who drop Gauntlet Potions Tier 5 required to progress through this location.

The mice found on Tier 4 are weaker against tactical traps, but can be quite tough against traps of other power types.

Arming a high luck tactical trap will help to increase your drop rates slightly. Due to the power of these mice, higher luck tactical traps will generally perform better than higher power tactical traps in terms of catching mice.
