White Cheddar
This cheese is rather poor at attracting mice. However it seems that its unique scent drives away the white, grey and brown breeds of mice.
Overview
White Cheddar is the first cheese that a hunter is able to craft, and it sees most use in Gnawnia. It’s special property of driving away White, Grey and Brown mice means that can be used effectively in areas that have high populations of those mice to attract more powerful or rarer mice. White Cheddar should always be used with the Wooden Base with Target to maximise its potential.
Our standard price for White Cheddar Cheese is 18 gold per piece.

Recommended Use
White Cheddar is best used in locations around Gnawnia that have high populations of White, Grey and Brown mice, and in combination with traps that have high attraction bonuses.

Attraction is based on the Base Attraction for the cheese – please remember this can be improved by using a trap with an Attraction Bonus.

Special Properties
White Cheddar does not encounter White, Grey or Brown mice, meaning that it can sometimes be used to more effectively attract rarer or more powerful mice.

Despite its current description, due to the increase of mouse species (is that a correct term?) in Gnawnia, I find it to be a very cost effective cheese; even more so than marble or swiss, but that’s just me.
i used white cheddar,but attracted white mouse??
however i used an trap with major luck bonus…maybe that’s why
Where did you use it, and attract a white mouse?
If you equip Birthday Candle Kaboom with CheeseCake base and White cheddar, you can do quite well in Derr, since Slyvan’s techinically are a large profit, and mice can’t steal crafted cheese. Also, you can get some renegades and seers. I know, cause I tried about 50 +++ White Cheddar.
If mice cant steal crafted cheese then why a Bionic Mouse stole 57 pieces of white cheddar from me while im hunting in Harbour?
This has changed now, certain cheese (such as White Cheddar) can now be stolen by mice.
