Terms of use
Terms of use are on the installation page. Please read carefully. If you do not agree, please uninstall the script at once.Safety and Warranty
Use MHizer at your own risk. I myself mentioned it several times, and it's in the terms of use on the installation page. My suggestion is that: for features that are controversial or can potentially get you banned, turn them off, don't use them, or use them sparingly.Bugs, Errors, Crashes
Some features may behave like a bot in order to fetch data from other webpages. For instance, if you would like to display points on forums, MHizer needs to fetch point data from MH profiles. This behavior may register as a bot, depending on MH and FB bot detection algorithm. The config page tells you exactly what pages are loaded in the background
Anyway, Be assured that MHizer never sounds the horn for you. For questions about Terms of Service, please ask MouseHunt developers or Facebook. For questions about features or how MHizer works, you can ask me peter[at]furoma.com
To facilitate bug reports, please provide as much information as possible:Bugs - Timer Alarm
(a) URL and what you were trying to do;
(b) what the result was;
(c) your computer system (Operating system, Firefox version, GreaseMonkey version, MouseHuntizer version);
(d) screenshots especially when it is difficult to describe in words;
I am not a professional programmer. And the way I write the codes is far from perfect. However, please understand that not all bugs or crashes you experience while MHizer is turned on are caused by MHizer. Please disable GreaseMonkey or MouseHuntizer temporarily to check whether the bugs still exist before reporting.
If you see two of the same things at the same time, perhaps you have two copies of MouseHuntizer installed. Please disable or uninstall one of them.
To disable GreaseMonkey temporarily, click on the Monkey icon on the status bar. It will be greyed out. Click it again to re-enable.
To disable MouseHuntizer temporarily, right click the Monkey icon on the status bar, and then uncheck MouseHuntizer.
To uninstall GreaseMonkey, go to Firefox menu 'Tools' > Adds on > Extensions > GreaseMonkey > Unintall
To uninstall MouseHuntizer, right click the Monkey icon on the status bar > Manage User Scripts > select MouseHuntizer from the list of scripts > click 'Uninstall' button
To check plugin installations: Tools > Adds-on > PluginsKnown Issues
You need Quicktime or Windows Media Player (better). Real Player may or may not work. Install plugins here.
To select plugin to play sounds: Tools > Options > Applications > Type "wav"
In the 'Action' column, you can select any application to play the sound. Different computers behave differently. Use the application that runs smoothly on your computer to play the sounds.
Also, please make sure that your speaker actually works. If you do not like the alarm, you can use the pop up alert instead. If you would like to propose a new sound, please send me an email.
Sometimes the MHizer fails to run on forums.Browsers other than Firefox
Recommended browser is Firefox. Firefox is available on many operating systems, including Linux and MacOS.Technical Support, Suggestions, Comments
Chrome: Sorry, Chrome is not supported. The GreaseMonkey equivalent for Chrome is called Grease Metal. And it does not support the function 'xmlhttprequest' yet. This function requires for most features of MHizer to work.
Flock: MHizer should work on Flock. Flock is basically Firefox with integrated add-ons.
Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari: Sorry. Not supported.
Technical support is limited, as I make this script as a hobby. I may not be able to reply back to you. Please don't feel offended. I have to give higher priorities to real life responsibilities.
All bug reports, suggestions, and comments are appreciated. MouseHuntizer gets better mainly from users' feedbacks.
You can send me an email peter[at]furoma.com or drop by on PF facebook page (wall or board - up to you). Thank you.
